OK for most of us it is the wrong season but I have been waiting for this for years.........
This is one cool product that can make our summers by the grill so much better....It is on my list folks

That's actually a cool product (ouch, pun not intended). Oh what I would have given for one of those in my youth while tent camping!!!!

If i could get it to work in the shop it would be great, problem is my shop has 20 foot roof ans is wide open. Would never even feel it :(

Well I checked, we gave our tent to our son and it 10 x 10 IE 100 sq ft so would not have worked anyway.
Also, we do not have any rooms in the the house at 50 sq ft.
Now I do like the idea of portable AC using a battery pack but we do not go anyplace where I would use it.
So I am out. :)

Well, it says that it can cool a 50 sqft room to 44 degrees so if that indeed is true (I doubt it) then it would make the 100 sqft tent more than comfortable. I bet it would come in handy, I just don't think it's priced right.

I agree RG but just like the air conditioner cooler. If it has a 25 mph fan it might cool you in a tent by blowing on you.

Yes i would come in handy but only for 5 hours with the optional power bank so not usable for overnight sleeping in a tent or closet unless one has a 110 ac power source. If 110ac is available there are many higher BTU with much lower costs units available.
As I indicated I like the portability of it and low noise operation. I agree with RG about price point being to high.

I don't understand the question, IE question marks, but without an electrical source you only have 5 hours of cooling with the optional batter pack.

Once you are a sleep on a boat or closet LOL you might not need it for the rest of the night. The Q marks were supposed to be shocking faces that did not come through on the post LOL
By looking at the battery they could make a bigger one that would last 8 hours.
Anyway, they are in the right direction Better days are coming

As I said before it is not for me and here are the reasons.
Cost of $399 for cooling capacity of only 1100 Btu/Hr is insufficient for me.
Even though I like the battery pack, only 5 hours of operation without recharge would not work for me.
Not available for shipment and still looking for backers.
All of this could be improved in the future but I am not talking about the future.
This unit might work well for others but I am not talking about others and am only posting why it would not work for me. OK
