My wife got me a giftcard for my birthday from ATBBQ so I went on a little shopping spree! I've seen lots of y'all using some of these rubs and sauces and have been itching to try them. The slicing knife is a 12" Dalstrong Gladiator Series (not from ATBBQ). We're gonna need a bigger pantry...

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone. I tried some of the Blues Hog BBQ sauce mixed in with some chopped pulled pork yesterday. Very sweet flavor which I enjoyed. I wouldn't want to use it all the time, but it was good. Almost seemed like flavored honey.
And the hickory smoked flaked finishing salt was surprisingly smoky. I'm gonna enjoy that stuff on a ribeye soon...

Try mixing the Blues Hog Original 50-50 with Blues Hog Tennessee Red. It is my go to sauce for pork. I especially like to use it on pork ribs at the end of the cook.

X2 on that. I like the original on chicken, Tennessee red on pulled pork and half & half on ribs.
I'm curious about that hickory smoked salt. Has anyone tried putting kosher salt spread out in a pan and hitting it with some smoke?

I've actually thought about smoking some cheeses and some salt for Christmas gifts this year on my pellet smoker. Here is a link to an article that gave me the idea. It sounds like you need to smoke the salt for a lot longer than I would've thought (up to 14 hours!)...
