Title: Dock Crawl party at the club- made Turkey Terrific Sandwichs a big hit.
Post by: Tailgating is my game on June 09, 2019, 10:24:56 AM
Every boat this year was from a port of call (Food drink & decorations) My bride & I picked Nantucket as our Port of call.

So we made Turkey Terrific sandwiches. This was the lunch we had before she said yes to me 27 years ago.

So we decorated the boat as "Nantucket Christmas"

We served fresh Cape Codders (Cranberry juice, Vodka & Fresh Lime Juice)

Crab Dip & Crackers

And the best sandwich that is so simple to make

Sour dough Italian bread **
Jelled cranberry sauce
Mayo
Stove Top Stuffing) Yes not fresh but stove top stuffing.
Fresh (not store bought) Roasted or smoked turkey. We had Roasted

It was one of the hits of the day. Something so simple is so good.

** The original uses fresh Portuguese bread but because we needed finger food we used sour dough.

That's all it is Thanksgiving leftovers on a sandwich.

Cape Codders had lots of fresh lime......they were also great.

Lots of good food & drink but the best part was the company.  Weather was also fantastic as good as it can be.

Next time I am adding bacon but we stayed with the original this time

No pics buddy. An East coast sandwich chain makes a Sammie like that. I think they call it the Gobbler. They are tasty.
