Title: Ramen noodles and Instant Gourmet
Post by: TMB on January 30, 2012, 09:48:14 PM
After a hard day a work today I thought I'd make ramen noodles but with a twist

First I dry fried a skinless chicken breast with Instant Gourmet seasoning on it.

Here is the chicken breast with the Instant Gourmet and a little water to deglaze to pan

Next drain the liquid from the pan and add it to the ramen noodles that are cooked half way so they can pick up the flavor

Next brown the chicken in the pan when you remove the liquid and cut it up then once brown mix it with the noodles and sauce you made from the pan and add a little more Instant Gourmet (1 tbs) mix it up in the pan then serve

I love the ramen noodles and these were great.  Kimmie loved them as well and that saying something, 'cause she is not one to love food she just eats.

The Instant Gourmet seasoing is now on her "hit" list  for must have, so I will be getting more for sure.    Mai problem I have now is the stuff is sooooo good on noodles and  pasta I don't think Kimmie will let me use it on meat  ;)

I only use ramen noodles to make an Asian style cole slaw.  I may have to revise my thinking and think more "outside-the-box".  Great idea.  Thanks for posting.

I must admit I never bought Ramen noodles once I got out of school and got a job making enough money to buy "real" food. Something about being the only thing you can afford to eat every day put me off of them. I might have to try them again, especially since they can be dressed up so nicely.

Thanks Ken, you can do a lot with ramen noodles you just have to think outside the package  ;)
