Title: Springtime in January?
Post by: LostArrow on January 12, 2014, 12:04:59 PM
After 2 weeks of either bitter cook or cold & rain , today it's a high of 70F no clouds & calm!
I had cleaned up my big cooker for the winter, but how can I resist ::)
Beer, Music, sunshine , Lucy & a small fire I'll have to tend hourly... Doesn't get any better 8)
Smoking a butt portion ham & BB ribs!

50 degrees and nice sunshine here John. First time either one has happened in weeks, we were at 8 degrees last Tuesday and went through several days that the temps did not get above freezing. That ain't supposed to happen down here. Anyway today is a lovely day to be cooking outside but the wife has decided I need more culture so we have season tickets to the Broadway In Birmingham thing so at 11:22 when I should have some meat on a grill or smoker I am getting ready to go see Memphis at the Civic Center in B'ham. I have on khakis, a button down shirt, a sport coat and sissy looking shoes. At least they sell beer at these things.
