If someone is "offended" by your cook - then they need to stop being so closed minded. THAT looks like it will be phenomenal. I like the use of onions under the ribs too.

Prefer them grilled, BUT, if have to do them inside, those look super! Don't let the purists beat you up! You done good!

Nothing wrong with cooking indoors. Nothing offensive I can see...
Nice using the onions to lift the ribs off the bottom of the pan ;)
