4th Dinner with Brother and Nephews
« Reply #-1 on: July 06, 2014, 01:12:00 PM »
My youngest brother (Jeff) and his three sons (Nick, Anthony, and Kaine along with their lab - Buddah came out for the Yankees vs. Twins game on the 5th. We are all (well all but one) die hard Yankee fans. Jeff got us great seats - third base line right behind the Yankees dugout - you could reach out and shake Jeter's hand! Say what you will, Jeter is the consummate Yankee - up there with Madingly, Posada, Bernie, Torre, and Rivera, along with all the old stars... Yankees lost in extra innings... never fails when we go to the games...  ;) ;D ;D

But the night before, on the 4th, we had a feast on the deck as fireworks (illegal in MN) were flying... a great night.

Very nice David! It's always great to catch up with family, and pickup where it was from last visit! I don't have much family left on my side, and I don't get to see them as often as we all would like, but when we do get together, we always have a wonderful time. There's never any time for any negativity, just pure unadulterated FUN!
Good for you with your visit, reminds me to call my bro and sis!  ;D
Too bad your Yankees lost, although as a Sox fan, White that is, I probably won't shed a tear!  :D

David sounds like everyone had fun!

I just went to a Dodger game about a month ago. Dodgers lost. Was still a good time...

I can't think of a better way to celebrate than food and fun with family.
