Heaven on earth!  Man oh man, I could go for one of those.   Too bad my wife is like Kimmy--the blacker and more overdone, the better, in her eyes (and mind).   Those are just perfect, IMHO--thick, barely medium rare.   HMMM. good!

Yeah Alien I'm with ya! I can eat a steak all the way from rare to medium  but after that I just can't do it! I prefer my steak medium rare and thick. I tend to keep it simple in regards to seasoning and grilling. I get the beef up to room temp then I use a light coating of olive oil. Then I use coarse sea salt or Kosher salt, a little Johnny's seasoning and some pepper. I sear them then pull em off and let em sit awhile so the juices don't pour back out and then boom perfect steaks. I love grillin and chillin! :P
