What was the best concert you have ever been to?

I wanted to say the Stones at the Coliseum on the Steel Wheels tour in 1989 but the hands down winner was seeing John Fogerty at the Greek Theatre (1997) on his Blue Moon Swamp tour when he finally did Creedence songs again (not counting the Concert for Vets in 1987), to hear the opening cords of Born on the Bayou live still gives me goose bumps.

Here is Mr Fogerty performing a Creedence song for the very first time since the band broke up in 1972

Those all sound great. Mine was the Diamond Head Festival of Life - with BTO, Cheech & Chong, America, Melissa Manchester, Jesse Colin Young, Seals & Crofts and a bunch more I don't remember. Runner up was Elton John and Billy Joel in Milwaukee.

I am not sure I can pick ONE...But, some that come to mind are indelible: Emerson Lake and Palmer, Rush, Triumph, B.B. King, (Willie Nelson in the 1970's was great). And -  Harry Connick Jr. and Allison Krause w/Union Station are some of the most musically intricate performances.

I think it was 1976 - some of those dates tend to blur a bit.... I still have the poster but no date on it. I think it was something to do with the bicentennial.

One of my favorite shows happens to be when I saw Brooks and Dunn in Las Vegas. They had a awesome tribute to our military!

I was there in Diamond Head Carter w/ ya.  if you were at this concert you have secrets.  you not that innocent doc.  it was one of the best concerts ever.  remember the big pile of sleeping bags?  there was a lot of stuff going on at that concert.  thousands of ppl 1/2 naked.  great music and fun at that one.

When I went to work in '72, I was on the mobile production team that did the TV show "The Midnight Special". You remember the one with Wolfman Jack. He was the host that everybody remembers. Our production crew went to a lot of concerts and venues until the early 80's. We put every concert on video tape for playback every Friday night after "The Johnny Carson Show". What I liked about it was the fact that we got to see every act twice because they performed the exact same set during a second concert usually the next night. That was so we could edit between sets to get a cleaner "take" on each song. We recorded acts like The Beach Boys, Elton John, The Jacksons, The Bee Gees, Genisis, REO Speedwagon, ABBA, and KISS to name a few that I can remember. I bet we recorded over 500 of the most famous acts. Now to my favorite concert...easy choice....Dolly Parton. While I was watching her, I didn't even realize she was singing.
