Seen lots of concerts, but my most memorable one was my first Neil Young. He had a country girl opening act that everyone sat quietly for, but as soon as he came out, 24,000 lighters lit up at once and the smell just drifted across the Air Canada Centre.
Thought I was at a Willie Nelson bash.

Fred was that Nicolette Larson?

I have been to a lot of rock concerts when I was younger, Ozzy Osbourne, Journeys, Metallica (I think, but would go today if given the opportunity) and others I don’t really remember. As I got older I’ve seen Elton John, Jimmy Buffett which both put on great shows. Sheryl Crow, Crosby Stills Nash and as my daughter was getting in to concerts I would tag along, disturbed, 3Doors down, flyleaf, system of a down, korn, etc… and of all of the shows I’ve seen I would have to say that it is a close tie with Disturbed and 3Doors Down.

RAD I have seen Korn several times. They are great in concert. They did an awesome show in Bakersfield years back that I went to that included Pennywise. I even saw them when I was just out of high school back in 1993 and there was a local battle of the bands show out in Lancaster California. They came out from Bakersfield and won the thing. They were a brand new band but we knew back then when we saw them they would make it big.

God only knows how many concerts I've been to or which was the favorite but two of the most memorable moments were ...

     ● 1965 in Lexington, VA when the then relatively unknown Dionne Warwick opened for (much more famous at the time) Mary Wells. Mary might as well stayed home.

     ● Rita Coolidge opening for Kris Kristofferson at the Las Vegas Hilton about four or five years after they split up. When she came back out and they combined for Jackson ("We got married in a fever...") the place went nuts.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion

Aerosmith "Toys in the Attic" tour; Jethro Tull; Emerson, Lake and Palmer; Yes (when Wakeman was still with them on keyboards, I sill love his version of Starship Trooper.  In a keyboard throw down I would have to take Wakeman over Keith Emerson though), and the one time that Peter Gabriel came back to Atlanta in the 90's (after a bad reception with Genesis in the 70's made him say never again).  ELP was the first date I took my future wife on in 1976.

Hard to pick a favorite though.  Have not been to one in a while.  Life sort of gets in the way sometimes.

No it wasn't Nicollete Larson. I don't remember her name but pure country and played a violin or fiddle. It's at the tip of my tongue, but I think because of what all those lighters lit up it has affected my memory.

Nope...not her. Had a really high shrilly voice when she sang. It was Neil's Greendale concert. 2003
