Never forget 9-11
« Reply #-1 on: September 11, 2014, 12:20:07 PM »
Riding into work today I was thinking back 13 years ago on this date.   I'll never forget where I was at the time nor will I forget seeing the planes hit tower #2.

There are some who want you to never see the tapes of that day nor do they want you to remember.

But I say never forget,   and never forget those who went over to the Middle East to take them out.

We lost over 3000 thousand people here and we lost brave men and women fighting on the front lines.

We have many coming home broken and missing arms and legs, we owe them a GREAT DEAL of thanks

NEVER FORGET!!

I remember like it was yesterday when the planes hit. I was working and listening to talk radio. I called my ex wife to tell her to turn on the news.

They were talking about that day on the radio today. I never knew about this story. There was a female fighter pilot that was just done flying simulated air strikes using blank ammo and no missiles. She was watching on the news as the towers were hit then she gets the order to go up and take down flight 93. The thing is that her fighter jet had no ammo or missiles. And there was no time to get it loaded. Her mission was to use her fighter jet to take down the airliner by ramming it. She never got a chance to complete her mission when the passengers bravely took back that plane.

There are so many stories of heroism that day.

I will never forget!

I get chocked up every 9/11....hard to explain that day to my 10 and 11 year old. I have a picture of the three firefighters raising the flag in the rubble....see it everyday
