Ghost Pepper GB jerky -- updated

A friend of mine gave me some ghost peppers from her garden. Most of them will be dried for later use but one of them is going into my latest batch of jerky.




Flavor


cure


combined


mixed with 5 lbs ground chuck


regrind using fine plate


second mix


formed


into the excalibur for about a 6 hour ride

Oh yeah I love them too. My test sample I fried up was plenty hot but now I'm wishing I would've put 2 peppers in there.

You know Art, the powder does not seem as hot as the pepper it self.  I made some sauce with the powder you gave me and it was good but when a friend gave me the recipe his was hotter with a pepper ground up.

I was waiting to see if anyone else was going to ask.....If they are REAL Ghost Peppers.....I hope the best and will send Preparation H, and Tucks....I highly recommend that you consume a LOT of ice cream both before and after the jerky... :D 8) ;D
