Indoor meals
« Reply #-1 on: March 01, 2015, 07:53:02 PM »
This were last weeks mid week meals. Don't have many pics. But wanted to share. Originally post to Instagram @tonyymaribel

First up some rib eye tacos.
Chopped up the rib eyes from a previous cook and they hit the cart iron with a little of Manteca.

Tortillas heated with a little oil

Then made something called sopes de picadillo

This was 1 lb of ground beef and  when it was almost done cooking I added 1 can of mixed vegetables. 1 1 1 - 8 oz Tomato sauce and  1 tbs of cayenne pepper.

Plated...

The sope was already  made and lightly fried.
Added beans as a base, then picadillo, sour cream and salsa.

Thanks for stopping

A sope is a thicker patty made of corn with ridges all around to hold in your food.

Manteca is lard or pork fat
