Can't wait for daylight saving time!
« Reply #-1 on: March 03, 2015, 06:15:18 PM »
For many people it's not an advantage but as a working empty nester it allows me to come home and cook in daylight 8)
To me it's the start of weekday grilling season.
Just checked & down to 4 18 lb bags of charcoal, hopefully someone puts on sale soon!
Ive done very little outside cooking since Christmas  ???
Not complaining compared to the north our weather hasn't been dangerous, but it's been a wet wet cold & windy January & February & so far March isn't better.
But after Sunday's time change everything will be better!

Spring ahead, Fall back one hour.

Just me but split the differance and just leave it alone. More of a pain than anything.

I'm with LA on this one - unless they leave it alone AFTER this Sunday.  I don't like finishing my cooks after dark:30.

Make the change so we have more daylight, then leave it there.

just sayin'...

We don't do that silly stuff but our hours of daylight don't change all that much this far south - about 11 hours in winter and 13 in summer. It works for me.

My only gripe about time change weekend is we spring ahead on NASCAR weekend here in Vegas.  After getting home from the racetrack in the evening on Saturday and having to leave the house for the racetrack early Sunday morning, losing that hour hurts.
