Step by Step Pictorial of Hobart Mixer Rebuild

This is pretty neat. I came across this earlier today and thought a few folks would enjoy seeing this. I did not know that Hobart became KitchenAid!

Pretty neat! Hobart still makes commercial service equipment - but I did not know of the relationship with KitchenAid either.

What a beautiful restoration!

When I lived in Hawaii, I worked at a Pizza place in Waikiki. We used a Hobart floor mixer for making dough - for some reason, I really liked that huge mixer. So, when I decided I needed a stand mixer, I wanted a Hobart - found out KitchenAid was the consumer version. Mine is over 25 years old and going strong. Thanks for the post.

I knew about the Hobart/Kitchenaid deal. I live about 65 miles from them and have a KitchenAid kitchen..their customer service is some of the best I have ever seen..like our sponsors here.  I have almost everything except the major appliances, sure makes cooking, prosessing and baking a breeze.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Now KitchenAid is a part of the Whirlpool Corp. Their first stand mixer was introduced in 1919. No longer part of Hobart, apparently.
