It looks interesting but I wouldn't buy it! For the amount they want you can by a Weber kettle or even
the new Charbroil charcoal grill.  Maybe I can hook up with Tommy and see if he can convert my
electric pressure cooker into something like this!  ;) 8)

These guys -   http://www.smokaroma.com    have been making commercial units for a long time. Would probably disappoint us to know how many times we have eaten food from one - and not known it. It is a technology that feels uncomfortable....kind of like Sous Vide did at first - but, I am willing to bet that it can be a useful addition to the stable ;) - not to replace anything, but to give you options in bad weather, or save some time if you are behind...you name it.

I think almost any technology can assist us - without replacing what we enjoy doing. It only requires us to think outside of the self-made box we are used to thinking inside of ;D

I remember when I scoffed at the first Treager pellet grill I saw....And now - pellet grills have become the fastest growing portion of the outdoor cooking industry. ;)

SO, when new technology comes to market - I try to look at it with some imagination - and ask how it might improve what I already do. Just me.....
