Three weeks ago I placed two orders with Amazon that were going to come in five separate deliveries. First one came with one item cracked and unusable. No problem, this happens occasionally. So I boxed up the item and sent it back on their dime. Got credited. Another pkg (copper Moscow Mule mugs) was said to arrive same day. Didn't arrive but an email said now a week delay. Got another email informing me of that day's delivery of mugs. Didn't arrive. That night was told another week! I also was awaiting a rotisserie set-up that Old Dave had reccomended at a sweet price! Thursday night it arrived.....damaged! I opened it up and it looked bad! Called Amazon customer service (one of the best customer service anywhere) told them my story. They want to keep their customers. They apologized and told me I didn't have to return the rotisserie, they would credit me, the mugs are arriving Monday, but they credited those too, so they were a gift, plus gave me a $20.00 gift card. Is that fair? Yes it is!
Best part of the story, I took six or seven whacks with a rubber mallet and a few chest squeezes and I'm close to round...not perfect yet. But getting there! Amazon redeemed themselves!
And the first rotisserie cook goes on......
