A neat trick learned from Terry
« Reply #-1 on: May 15, 2016, 08:57:10 AM »
Crawfish are cheap this year. We were having a crawfish bowl and had ordered two bags of crawfish. Well the day of the party several of the guest told us they were bringing extra family members and all of a sudden we have 16 people and two bags of crawfish. Called our supplier and they were out. Terry posted  about cooking a chicken or turkey I can't remember and the crawfish bowl and how good it was. Defrosted two chickens cut them in half and stuff to him in boil  bags. Cook them along with the veggies and sausage and they went over great and we were able to have enough food to feed the group. no pictures of the cooks sorry but I will post a picture of the disposable boil bags I buy in bulk there 100 for about nine dollars for the 100 and they make boiling  small items like mushrooms brussels sprouts asparagus and keeping the chicken together when you are doing a boil.
Thanks Terry you never know when an post will come in handy!
