Saved by the peppers

I was seriously considering making mreservices'
Bacon Wrapped Smoked Burnt Ends
but decided to wait until SWMBO is out of town. It’s not that I’m a coward (although I am); it just seemed like a battle not worth instigating (or even showing up for).
So… I took my frozen smoked brisket point and added it to the requisite peppers, onions, garlic, stout, etc. and threw it in a Dutch oven for a couple of hours at 350
o
. Chunked instead of shredded so I can call it pot roast for SWMBO – excellent as is or for sandwiches or burritos.
It was a good call (and gave me an excuse to go brisket shopping next week).

Righteous looking cook, Turtle. I'll bet it tastes every bit as good as it looks, too.
