Sunday Dinner for the boy
« Reply #-1 on: July 28, 2019, 07:16:59 PM »
My son Wesley REALLY looks forward to being home on Sunday (sometimes he has to work, most weeks 6 days). He loves his Sunday dinners. He cooks for a living being a Sous Chef so he likes when somebody cooks for him, lol. Normally my wife cooks the Sunday meal but she is in Ohio for a bit. She helped move my daughter there since she is attending THE Ohio State, lol. She graduated from UGA and  got accepted into Ohio State's PhD program.

That left the cooking up to me. I cooked 2 meats, because....well, because! Porkies and Sirloin. Why not? I made some asparagus and Pepper Jack scalloped potatoes and semi burnt rolls, lol.

I made a vanilla bean ice cream base this morning and threw that into the ice cream machine this afternoon so we could have it with an Apple Crisp I whipped up. Suffice it to say, the dessert was killer ;)

Time to go relax a bit, been cooking all day it seems. Gotta get ready for Shark Week!
