Thanks, Art and Maureen. We have stayed dry and it finally stopped raining. I don't know how much it rained because my rain gauge is full at 5 inches. The weather reader on TV said that we had about 35 inches, but they have been known to exaggerate that figure. It was really weird this morning at about 10:30 when it was as dark as midnight. I had to use a flashlight outside to clear one of my french drains. Power went out 3 or 4 times for short periods, but I have an automatic standby generator that keeps the whole house electrified. I think we dodged the bullet one more time.
