Testing out my new stuffer..........
« Reply #-1 on: November 16, 2019, 06:38:59 PM »
Tested out my new 7lb., 2 speed vertical sausage stuffer mfg. by Hakka today.......I stuffed a total of 15lbs of sausage ground from two large bone in pork butts.

5lbs each of Bratwurst (shown, thanks again Cliff) and Hot Italian in 30mm clear fresh collagen casings. Breakfast in 21mm clear fresh collagen. I love this stuffer, all metal gears, stainless steel. The 7lb capacity is enough for true 5lb batches with room to spare. Some odds and ends, pan fried in butter. So far, so good! Check it out if you're in the market for a vertical stuffer.

Great looking sausage!   Do you ship to middle Georgia?    ;)

How long have you been making sausage?  Looks like you know what you're doing.

Sure I do, next day air.......

I used to make sausage regularly, but I've been out of it for a number of years now, but I'm getting the itch to start making sausages again so......time to get back to making it!

Great looking sausage!! Does the stuffer pot and pusher lid come off the stand for easy cleaning. I gave my Lem to my son and want to get back to stuffing.

Looked up the stuffer and came across this link selling it for $49.99

Not sure if its a typo or if this is a reliable site but thought I would pass it on.

ADDED 12/12/19  Looking at this site it appears to be in China and mostly jewelry. Not sure why the stuffer comes up. I'd beware.

Great looking sausage!! Does the stuffer pot and pusher lid come off the stand for easy cleaning. I gave my Lem to my son and want to get back to stuffing.

The stuffer pot certainly does come out for easy cleaning. As a matter of fact it pivots out as you can see from the pictures to make loading it a breeze. The piston and gasket come off easily and the air valve comes apart for cleaning easily too, meat gets in there and it needs to be dissasembled every use. It has 2 speeds and comes with 4 stainless steel stuffer tubes16mm/5/8", 22mm/7/8", 32mm/1 1/4", 38mm/1 1/2". It also being a 7 lb capacity cylinder it holds a true 5 lb batch, other 5 lb capacity stuffers do not which to me is a problem and most come with plastic tubes. I'm extremely happy with it. For $129.99 delivered in 2 days with Amazon prime shipping I don't think you could find a better deal out there.
