In case you don't know why you're exhausted...
« Reply #-1 on: February 15, 2021, 12:05:28 AM »
... it's all because of an overactive calendar.

Friday was Lunar New Year (big deal in Hawaii and other places with large Asian populations).

Saturday was kind of a freebie unless you're following the Prada Cup (leading up to the America's Cup) like SWMBO.

     Today (Sunday) is Valentines' Day.

Monday is Presidents' Day (except for one, I'm told).

Tuesday is Mardi Gras (with floats made out of houses this year).

... and Wednesday is the beginning of Lent (the holy day where Catholics give up something enjoyable until Easter and then hope they don't forget who they lent it to).

Anyway, we're eating appropriately at Casa Honu... dim sum on Friday, seafood on Saturday, filet and lobster bisque (see blurry photo below) today, planning something all-American for Monday, and making KyNola's BBQ shrimp on Tuesday. We're nothing if not thematic during our COVID stay-at-home-mostly time. Hope you and yours are doing as well.

Stay uninfected, medicated, and well-fed.

Then I guess it's leftover bisque and shrimp on Wednesday . . . . .

Don't forget two small meals and one big one.

Are you SURE that you don't need a man-servant. From the looks of things...will work for food at your place would be a bump or 6 up in my pay grade....

... leftover bisque and shrimp...

I might be able to make enough shrimp tomorrow to have some leftovers but the ship has sailed on the lobster bisque.

SWMBO doctored a 20-ounce tub of Kirkland Lobster Bisque (which, by itself is okay but not special) with herbs/spices, alcohol, and (most importantly) she coarsely chopped two small poached (cooked that way, not illegally taken from someone else's reef) lobster tails and added them in. No way to serve two people and have leftovers from that. At least not if I'm one of the two.

tee - We might enjoy having a manservant; however, the answer to your "job application" is NO! (But thanks for asking.)

Turtle, I know that you are a connoisseur of good taste, but I didn't realize that you ate that good at home every day. If I had known that, I would have tried to be in Hawaii a lot more often. Now I know why SWMBO has decided to keep you.

Actually it's because I give good vacation. Unfortunately I'm having to rely more on other skills (at which I do not necessarily excel) until this damn COVID thing runs its course. At least I'm apparently still meeting the minimum requirements although the pressure is increasing and I'm not sure how long I can maintain the pace.
