25 + feed at the house this weekend
« Reply #-1 on: March 09, 2013, 09:33:32 PM »
Well it's over, after weeks of planning and cooking Kimmie and I feed 25+ for my son's college group that's doing mission work here in town this week.  I'm now at 78 butts cooked in infrared  ;D   so I feel pretty good about the cook.

I'm very proud of my son, he put this trip together for the group.

Sorry there are not anymore pictures but I was busy keeping them fed!

Yep, it's left over from Christmas but all did up for Easter  ;)

We decided just to keep it up for now and dress it for the seasons

I had cooked 28 lbs of meat cause my son couldn't give me a true head count.  One day it was 15 people then the next day 20 to 25 so I needed to know I had enough meat ready

Good job Tommy! Don't worry about the Christmas tree, you live in Alabama, being eccentric is a requirement.

I worked with a guy that would leave his Christmas tree all decorated and wrap it in shrink wrap and the slide it in a closet. Next holiday he would slide it out and undo the shrink wrap and he was ready for Kringle  ;D

Great job on that big cook Tommy. Looks like everyone chowed down.
