Yet another box!
« Reply #-1 on: March 21, 2013, 01:55:52 PM »
Ok, so we had to build a box...   ;D

The back of our Mobile Pig Pantry has a ton of space for storage, etc.   But with one (2, actually  ;)) small obstructions.   The fender-wells.

We want to put our fridge/freezer back here, but how to get them up off of the floor so we clear that, yet make it sturdy enough to hold a fridge/freezer full of pig parts?   (and be road worthy)

Cue up a bigazzed box.

First we built 1,2,3,4,5,6 "walls".   Then faced the front and side.

Three more sheets across the top, a couple dozen screws, and "Ta Da"!

To give a sense of scale.

Some primer and caulk and silver paint, and we are good to go.   (and some anchoring..)

Ok, so we have 599 other things to do, but that is a big one, and it is done.   ;D

Nicely done! Killer truck!

Minus an engine..    ;D

Here are some pictures from the shop down in Nashville that built it.

The front of the trailer is a commercial kitchen.  The back is just for storage, and overflow work area.

Not sure what all the extra doors were for, but they look cool!   ;D

Our big warehouse suddenly got a lot smaller.....

Sounds of pigs squealing...? :D :D :D
