Phil - Rick (nepas) is pretty well known int eh sausage making realm as a master. I am hoping he wants to adopt - I think he needs help eating all of those ;D

Rick,
I just looked at your slide show.  I feel honored to have seen your PA setup and eaten some of the sausages from the "Master".  I do have one question from the slide show.  On the 14th slide it looks like you have wrapped something around your stuffer.  Are these ice packs to keep everything nice and cold?

The wrap is one those frozen sports wrap things. It was pretty warm out that day and i needed to keep things cold. I see where some freeze their grinder and stuffer parts? Why, that just makes the metal contract and causes wear with the auger.
