This morning to get parts for my UDS builds, walked out with 600 #'s of Kingsford Blue. I bought 15 of the 2x20 packs. It was a good sale at 12.99; they checked out at 10.99. I questioned the clerk, he checked the screen and said "yep, they're 10.99". I said, the sign says 12.99. He said the scanner says 10.99. I said OK! I feel like I did my part and was honest about the pricing. I was tempted to go back again to see if they had caught it yet. Maybe tomorrow, think not....what would I do with 1200 #'s of Kingsford? That would be a ton of BBQ'ing!!!

Lots of Gucci cookers ( my term for people with more money than sense) hate Kingsford blue, Well I burn at least 300 lbs a year ( about the same royal oak)
It is consistent , burns a long time , will burn hot if you need it & the food tastes great!!!

I was a Gucci cooker, until I bought a PBC. Stubbs was my bric of choice, and still is in the UDS. But, King in the Pit Barrel seems to work fine and it's definitely, cheaper( 40 pounds for $16 at Sams versus 30 pounds Stubbs for $18 at Lowes). Best bric I ever used was that Wicked Weekend stuff, but it was almost a buck a pound, after shipping. Hey, I'm a retired geezer, now. Got to watch my change purse!
