in search of the WOW brisket

Every year Texas Monthly magazine publishes their list of the top BBQ joints in Texas.

A couple of years back Snow's BBQ in Lexington got rated the #1 brisket.

One of the best pit briskets in Houston is served by Jerry Pizzitola.

One Saturday he and his partner, and two of their pitmasters drove over to Lexington to find out what made Snow's brisket so special.

I'm guessing they don't get to Houston as often as other areas.

Check out Full Custom Gospel BBQ if you haven't already.

They have got a lot more spots visited for sure.  They gave both Pizzitola's and Gatlin's great reviews.
