Jack, Academy seems to have a problem with getting the right pictures on their website sometimes. The $999 Brazos is much bigger and heavier and the lid overlaps instead of sitting flush like this one. This is probably the Pecos, which has the wrong photo for sure on the website. On the website it shows the smoker box on the left side when it really is on the right side. If you look at this link for the Pecos but look at the picture of the Brazos it would be the right thing.
