Meat Grinders
« Reply #-1 on: May 07, 2013, 02:46:48 PM »
I have a KitchenAid stand mixer with the grinder attachment. Works ok. Would like to grind all of my ground beef going forward.  Think I need something better.

I think Captain pushed me over the edge with his bacon burgers :)

Would I pick up anything important capacity or functionality by buying a stand alone grinder?

Any thoughts on brands or models. I am thinking electric as I am lazy!

Thanks

My KA grinder gets me by, but the stuffer really does suck. I just ordered the LEM 5 lb. stuffer

Thanks Ruumm, I just stumbled on that one. Just looked at eBay too. A lot of LEM knockoff grinders on there. That is how I bought my meat slicer.

This is the grinder that I have and it has ground up hundreds and hundreds of pounds of meat.  She grinds it as fast as you can stuff it down the throat.  For the price you can't go wrong with it.
