Ken,  It's great that B'Ham has become of focus of many things to include that rehab unit.  Prayfully, the next eight or nine months will pass rapidly and she will be fully healed.  Dee

TP- Just back in a world that has internet! Really sorry to hear of the bad news....but also thankful that Lana appears to be heading on the right direction. May God's healing continue, may he guide all those caring for her and may he bless you with peace and rest during this time. Will continue to lift your entire family daily in prayers. God bless!

Lana has a problem sometimes comprehending why I spend so much time reading what a bunch of crazy people post talking about cooking, but when I told her about the outpouring of support from all of y'all she was touched and tearfull.

She just had her first full day at Lakeshore with intense workouts from Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Physical Therapy. All of them were pleased that she is stronger and much further along than they thought she would be. It is possible she could released in as little as a week and then will have outpatient/in home therapy for up to 6 months.

It is going to be a long road but everyone is now thinking she can have a full recovery and will be back to her normal self. That is good news, the bad news is she will be back to her normal self, Lord help me.
