Did someone say ribs.

Don't tell on me but I didn't have any pecan pucks to go with my rub so I had to resort to the tube

Rubbed down three racks of baby backs with John Henry's pecan rub, thanks Sonny.

Into the Bradley

Great looking ribs. That tube is really amazing.  So simple it makes you wonder why it took so long for someone to come up with it.  Dee

I went ahead and purchased both the 18 inch and the 6 inch.  I think the one above is the 6.  6 should be perfect for the smoke phase of the ribs.  12 Inches if unfoiled.  Can't say enough good things about the tube, only fault I've heard is people don't let it get going 10 minutes before starting up a smoker and it goes out.  This is low and slow, take your time.  And if you are using a grill or other appliance, let the tube get burning for 10 minutes before you abandon it.

Great looking ribs. Nice to know you can fall back on the Amazen Tube when you run short of pucks.

Got the 18" tube, love using mine when I actually break down and get out the charcoal and do a real fire cook. Being able to quickly and conveniently change up the smoke flavor...there is something to that. From Mesquite for steaks or Pecan/Cherry, Pecan/Apple, Hickory.... You know what I am talking about!

As for the ribs..... glad I wasn't there! You might have missed out on your own hard work!
