Yes Sir!  That for sure was cool.  Take them off the grid when things get bad and they can still produce.  Now when the Government finds out about this plant they will send OSHA in and write them up for all those wheels and pinch points that are not guarded.  They will fine them for employees not wearing safety glasses and hearing protection (one guy had them on).  The branding iron electrical will get them another major fine.  Then the EPA will show up and get them for the unclean smoke being produced from the boiler and not treating the water.  Then the insurance company will come in and demand them to install a fire sprinkler system so the building is protected.  The Workers compensation carrier will demand that all the machines be guarded and that the machines not be foot operated because an employee might get their hands pinched and it should be hand operated to keep hands clear.

Cost of the box goes from X to X to the tenth power and the plant shuts down.  Then the Government wonders why we are losing jobs  ::)

Not very many old school craftsmen left in the US of A.  It was a pleasure to watch the video and see how it was done in the Steam Power generation.


Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.
