For my sister visit i prepared in advance corned beef sirloin
After 2 weeks in the brain washed it and rubbed it in b pepper ,garlic powder, coriander rub .
Put in the smoker at 220-230 with oak wood till IT 175 It took 13hours
it came out real good but i think brisket is a better cut for pastrami
Thanks for looking

It looks pretty tasty to me.
Being a sirloin cut, was it more tender than a corned brisket?

tent
i found that low and slow cooking or smoking a brisket improves the meat but not on the sirloin that is a great piece of meat from the start.
it is a great pastrami but with the price different i will stick with briskest.
smoke
no i washed it before the rub
