Oh boy..your gonna love that mixer..wait till ya start buying attachments. Then watch out..what ya making first? Enjoy. KitchenAid.com has a site with recipes on it. Haven't run into anything bad yet. Gotta love new toys. You have a long time to go yet too. my hubby just turned 78 in Nov. I married an older gentleman.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ

Happy Birthday to you Ed! My daughter uses two older models of that same mixer in her bakery. They're real workhorses!
