Yeah, SRF isn't bad until you get to the shipping. Luckily, I too have a local provider of Wagyu (he sells Strube). He runs Wagyu specials pretty regularly. Even when I can get it (packers) for $5.99/lb, it is hard to justify the price. Don't get me wrong. It is fantastic. Honestly though, the difference is a bigger deal to me when it comes to steaks than when it comes to brisket. Cooking with a heavy rub and smoke to probe tender is what cheaper cuts are made for.
