I have  always thought that if I ever went hunting elk or meese my thought would be as I was sighting to shoot would be, "How in the heck am I gonna tote this sucka out of here?"  I know how tough a deer can be, but I can't imagine something that big.  Dee

I gave up on deer at least black tail when my dad shot an elk and a deer in the same spot. Skinned the deer and put it in a backpack.  Put the back straps and tenderloins of the elk in another and the Elk weighted more than the deer.  Still had 4 quarters and scraps to go.

This one two of us 3 hrs to get out of the woods and we only had to go about 100-130 yards as a bird Flys.

Can't imagine what it would be to get a moose out. Those guys are big.
