I've been eyeballing those myself as a means to pack a grill to work in a small car, even if the trunk has to be strapped down. Some say they are a pain to set up on the legs. See if they let you try it!

I think you'll be very happy with a Davy Crockett.  I'm really enjoying mine and I've been impressed with it's performance and temp control right out of the box.
