This nothing for you guys from up north and the Midwest but an inch an hour is unusual for us.  Predicted to change to sleet and freezing rain.  Got my generator gassed up and will probably need it if it changes to ice.

Chapel Hill where UNC is going to play Duke tonight at 9 PM.  Still scheduled....go Heels.

It's coming down like gang-busters around Morganton.  It sure is pretty.  Glad I don't have to go out and shovel it.  I can wait it out if I have to.

I am here in Colonial Heights Virginia. It hardly ever snows here according to the locals. They have
already cancelled my class for tomorrow so I guess I can catch up on my sleep!  ;)

 :D :D :D :D  1 inch here and they closed the city schools, county schools and court house.

 I was home today because of the upcoming snow that was to hit at 3 pm.   It's now 5:28 my time and 1 inch of snow fell in a little over 1 1/2 hrs   Got to love the Sunny South!!!

Stopped snowing after 4+ inches, it's now sleeting/freezing rain.  I'm sure there will be numerous power outages.  UNC vs Duke game cancelled.  Duke said they couldn't get here safely.  They're only 8 miles away and it didn't start snowing until 12:45 PM today.

Nah....Dee is south of the bad weather. He will get some ice tonite, but it is going to be in the mid 40's there tomorrow.....
