Went to the Circus
« Reply #-1 on: March 23, 2014, 07:31:21 PM »
We went the circus today.  The Moolah Shriners put on a little circus here every year.  I have been taking my daughter every year since she was 1, she is now 6.  We both really enjoy it, its not Barnem and Baily, but its still fun and you get to ride the animals.  This year something different happened.  They forgot to close the pen to the elephants.  Well they went exploring in the employee parking lot.  Two cars got damage, but the elephants are ok.  They were not rampaging, just wandering around.  there so big it doesn't take much to damage things.  I know had it is to get the dogs back in the yard when they get out.  I couldn't imagine try  to get a couple of elephants back in.

My Dad has been a Shriner since forever. They do great things for kids. I know it's a secret but any Masons or Shriners in our Forum?

My wife LOVES the circus.  We go every year (even if it is a repeat).

I know the feeling. Mike. I've been working for a traveling circus for 42 years. We don't have any elephants to get loose, but we have some employees that turn into animals and run loose at night.
