...the first 200 members ... had demonstrated their great attitude, friendly, helpful nature, and oh...they could cook too! ... not interested at all in allowing anyone on LTBBQ that was a problem, trouble-maker, arrogant or otherwise un-friendly...  we REALLY investigate who someone is - before they can join us... without being mean spirited, or disparaging ...

... and I am PROUD to be the exception that proves all those rules. Glad to help out on so many levels - no thanks necessary.

OBTW tee, please put me down for one of them Krewe shirts (XXL) if they're still available.

When Tee and I talked about this site he knew what he wanted from the start and so far he has stayed right on course.

We started to look around at sites we were on and started asking those folks if they wanted a change for the better in cooking forums.  Looks like it's working!   

I have been to other sites and really it's a night and day difference.

Thanks to all for a great site and to Tee a big thanks for doing this!

I know I don't post as much as some, kinda go in spurts, but I can proudly say that I've personally met 27 folks from 13 different states plus Canada from my two main BBQ forums and consider each one of them Friends.  Looking forward to meeting even more, in the near future at the Krewe de Smoke, and many more down the road.

If  y'all feel good about dealing with all these nuthouse residents here on line, just wait until you meet them in person at the Gathering in September.  As Pam says, "It's like a family reunion without all the drama."

Of course, ever since Tommy's been married he no longer goes to family reunions to get a date.
