Creamy mushroom cognac sauce... or, thank you Robdnor
« Reply #-1 on: May 06, 2014, 10:15:39 PM »
We had a couple pieces of leftover New York Sirloin to have as a snack so I made the creamy mushroom cognac sauce that Robdnor posted in the recipes section.  This was a great idea.  Not only was the sauce delicious on the steak but there was about 2 ounces of Hennessey left over; what to do, oh, what to do?
This will be a repeat.  Very yummy!

The makings

The onion and mushrooms smelled great

Reduced and ready

Let's eat

Thanks for looking.
