I have two of these I have been using for a couple of years now.

Very good for roasting chicken, steaming vegetables, infusing smoke flavors, etc.  Probably works best on a gasser but could be used directly over hot charcoal.

I read somewhere that it can be used over direct fire, so could be handy while camping
