What better way to get your veggies and protein than a nice soup using the first of many garden harvested Zucchini Squash and Spinach.

Kitchen sink vegetable soup:  celery, onions, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, stewed tomatoes, spinach, zucchini, and pork sausage (pre-cooked and drained).  4 cups of chicken broth seasoned with garlic and salt & pepper.  Simmered till veggies are Al Dente.

Harvested Zucchini and a Sweet 100 Cherry Tomato.

I am really hot right now, and I would still eat a bowl of that.

That looks real delicious Pete! I wonder how it would taste if you added a couple of jalapenos to the veggie mix?  ;)

It would probably taste wonderful but personally I am not a jalapeno fan ... when it comes to the 'hot' stuff I'm a wuss!!  :)

That looks great and the same way I do my soups - anything and almost everything we have in the fridge.
Love to cook and eat
