Hi All

I been looking at the 30lb smoker made by The Sausage Maker.

Just wondering if anyone knows of someone who owns one?

Would like some input before i smack down $1000

I have looked at them Rick. Not as well made as the Smokin 'Tex or Smokin' It products. They are built a little more specific for sausage making - but I think that eh other 2 can be adapted easily enough - and wight eh better construction, better insulation - they represent the better deal, to me.

Those 2 are like the cookshack? I had a CS and didnt like it. Thinking weight and portability issues as it will be just for sausage anyways.

I purchased the 20lb sausage maker and so far it has worked well. Last use was during late winter (April)
Sleet storm. Did 6 slabs of bacon. Have had it a year.
Very satisfied. Use the two Bradley's more frequently but it came with 1000 watt element and holds temps very well.

I owned Cookshacks also and HATED them. Un-reliable....
These are strictly a dial thermostat and heating element. Nothin else to go wrong. But,- the weight of them may be an issue, from a portability standpoint. That might be a point in favor of the TSM. It is lighter built for sure.
