I use my Bradley mainly for cold smoking. My puck burner is located outside the cabinet so heat from that is not an issue. People have also used the AMZS in the Bradley cold smoking adapter with great results.
And ice makes a big difference because it is fully insulated and is basically a mini fridge converted into a smoker. I can hold temps well below ambient although it can get too cold and then the smoke does not rise well. However it is the best way to cold smoke IMHO.

I want to use PBC as a smoker,I will use your mod and run hose into PBC intake vent.Should be able to do awesome HOT and COLD smokes,very cool!
