Last week I picked up a bag of Blues Hog lump charcoal to try. Today I am grilling hot dogs for dinner. I dumped a half of a Kick Ash Basket into the Keg and lit it and went about cleaning the broken beer bottle and beer from the extra fridge and within like 10-15 minutes the keg was up just over 300 degrees and smelling great from the smoke coming from the top vent. I usually start the Keg well before I need it to get it where I want it but this charcoal is something I'm definitely going to be buying again. As I was putting it in the Keg I liked what I was seeing.

I buy all their rubs and BBQ sauce and they really have good stuff. You see them many times on the BBQ competition events, and they seem to do well.

Good info to know...I love the Blues Hog sauces. I learned about them from Old Dave. They even sell them locally now. Thanks for the assessment. That should work real well in my Cobb.

My go to sauce for ribs is 50-50 Original and Tennessee brushed on just before they are finished.

Yep. I've often 50/50 blended that.

Old Dave was a master at using Blues Hog sauces. I remember tasting his award winning ribs in Augusta in 2011 and then again a few years later. They were delicious. I know that Pammie remembers them, also.
