My pork chops on the SRG, second cook
« Reply #-1 on: December 15, 2014, 10:09:49 PM »
So for the second thing to try on the SRG I did some loin chops.  I am really liking this grill. The wife said I need to do this all the time.

Atta boy! Those look great to me. Tell us how you cooked them you know - lid up, or down, for how long...what you put on them, etc.

I cooked them lid down for 8 minutes a side.  I used hickory chips in the smoker

Those look great.   Can't beat grill marks with the grate on the SRG, IMHO.

excellent cook
next time give the grill at least 15~20'min before you start
and you'll get better grill marks
it takes the SRG grill a few minutes to get HOT ;)
