Brisket Birthday Dinner
« Reply #-1 on: April 25, 2020, 08:17:37 PM »
For my birthday I wanted to try to smoke a brisket for my very first time in my SRG. After searching the forum I got some wonderful directions from both users TMB, and Hub. After panicking and worrying about burning the brisket and my money going up in smoke, I figured I had directions and advice from some of the most seasoned veterans. I just wanted to come on and thank TMB, Hub and many others that posted about smoking brisket. Even though my brisket was small, my family members absolutely loved it and it was a success! Thanks you guys!!! I know it needs work, but it's my first one, and it was great.

Brisket can be a humbling cook, looks like you nailed it! Well done!

It's always great when the family approves, that's the opinion that matters most.
A revolving door of cookers and smokers. Some are keepers, some are here today, gone tomorrow!
