The legs were marinated overnight in Wishbone Italian dressing. I took them out of the marinade,
dried them off and seasoned them with Mo Rockin. I put them back into the refrigerator to continue
to dry off and absorb the Mo Rockin.

Once I took them out of the refrigerator I decided to kick them up a notch. So I wrapped each leg in
some center cut hickory bacon. The legs were then seasoned with Super Pig.

Put onto the Performer using KBB and a couple chunks of cherry wood.

After 10 minutes I went to check the temp of the grill since it was burning real hot to start.
I closed down the bottom vent some to bring the temp to around 375.

Legs are just about done so I added a pot of Bush Baked beans to the grill to heat up.

Chicken was delicious and the bacon took it over the top. It is really not something I will do every night,
even though you can never have enough bacon!

They look fantastic HOS!
I have made bacon wrapped chicken legs a few times and have found they are the best with the skin removed.
Did you leave the skin on or remove it?
-
Boy does that look awesome. Great looking plate!

I left the skin on Mike. It was definitely bite through and man the chicken was juicy. I did some bone in thighs before wrapped
in bacon and removed the skin. Really didn't think about it with the legs. Will have to try that next time and see if it makes a
difference.

It is a good thing "The Colonel" ( the one in KY...NOT Col. Dee.... ;D) is not here anymore to see this...he would be flippin' out! :D :D :D LOOKS GREAT MIKE!
-
Those look perfect.
Did you season under skin? I've found a mixture of brown sugar and chili powder on the side of the bacon next to the leg is tasty also.
